Light Duty Diesel
Experienced Mechanic
 
Essential Functions
 
  • Vehicle inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts.
  • Complete preventive maintenance
  • Repair vehicle by, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics; completes machine shop operations; making adjustments and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units.
  • Verify vehicle performance by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.
  • Take ownership for work completed.
  • Installation of aftermarket products
 
Job Requirements
 
  • 3+ years of light duty diesel truck repair experience required
  • High School Diploma/GED and Trade or Vocational Training preferred
  • ASE Master Mechanic Certified  or Ford Certification preferred, Ford Powerstroke, Duramax, Cummins
  • Must have a valid driver’s license;
  • Good written and verbal skills and computer proficiency required
  • Must have a good set of basic working hand tools
  • Monday – Friday  8am 5pm , occasional overtime as work load dictates
  • Must be able to meet physical requirements of position (lifting up to 100lbs, bending, climbing, standing for duration of shift, etc.)
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
  • Some wedding may be required

Ford Certified Diesel
Experienced Mechanic

  • Repair vehicle by, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics; completes machine shop operations; making adjustments and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units.

Job Requirements

 

  • 5+ years Ford Certified diesel mechanic required-thorough knowledge of Ford IDS Scan Equipment

  • High School Diploma/GED and Trade or Vocational Training preferred

  • ASE Master Mechanic Certified preferred.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license;

  • Good written and verbal skills and computer proficiency required

  • Must have a good set of basic working hand tools

  • Monday – Friday  8am 5pm , occasional overtime as work load dictates
